Waxed canvas patinas and ages beautifully. The wax Poke + Keister uses is a special blend that is applied by hand to ensure the canvas is fully permeated. With this method, the typical creases and cracks that appear will have a slight white hue to them – these will fade as the wax cures, but remember: waxed canvas will always shift, shape, and patina easily.

When exposed to concentrated amounts of water, there will be spotting. This does not mean the wax has been removed — the canvas is still water-resistant. To return heavily spotted wax to its original form, heat the area with a blow dryer.
